Custom Raised Beds
One of several 7’x12’ beds, rabbit-proofed with drip tubing.
You can see more images of this series of raised beds on the Custom Builds page, but this was a custom project built on a large property north of town. The design was specifically tailored to the available space and had to work among the trees and custom tortoise dens that I also built and installed. They also had to be protected from the local rabbit population and connected to the irrigation system. Even the combination of soil and compost was customized to the customer’s needs.
I was initially tasked with assembling and installing the prefab cabinets and building a custom shelf for electronics. The client then asked me to build three rows of shelves between the two cabinets and to replace the moulding that conceals the edges of the attic access door. I also installed more of these cabinets along with more custom shelves in the garage. You can see those in the gallery.

Sliding Barn Door
One of two matching bedroom doors
This custom sliding barn door replaced the bedroom closet door. A matching door replaced the master bath door. The doors are made from nickel gap shiplap, stained in brown, red, white, gray and blue and then randomly placed. (They can be left natural or stained any color.) The hardware was custom ordered to match other hardware in the room. They are mounted on a 1x4 that is anchored into the studs for security and to provide proper clearance over the door jambs.
